Prevention and Counteraction to Plagiarism
Before the review procedure, materials submitted for publication are checked for signs of plagiarism. The check is carried out using the Strikeplagiarism program, which determines the level of uniqueness of the text, lists the sources used and shows partial coincidence of the text. Citation in scientific articles is allowed in a volume not exceeding 15% of the total volume of the article.
In its activities, the editorial board is guided by the Regulations on the system for preventing plagiarism in academic texts of employees and applicants for higher education of the West Ukrainian National University, which is posted on the website of the higher education institution by vocation: https://www.wunu.edu.ua/opp/zyao/polozhennja-zapobgannja-plagatu.pdf
The editorial board rejects materials that do not comply with the requirements for preventing plagiarism, violate the norms of academic integrity and copyright. In the event of detection of the specified violations, the editorial board terminates further cooperation with the author, rejects the article without permission for revision and re-submission.
